branching out with green stuff modeling eh? I'd recommend not starting with loin clothes. As always Bradly, nicely done.

Greenstuff is the lamest sculpting substance to work with. It's such a pain in the ass. Try brown stuff or that grey crap that comes in a big tub.

Looks fantastic Brad, your stuff always rides the razor edge of motivating me to paint more, or just curling up in a ball of self pity for my lack of skillz

And it has, like, a cross or something!

Yeah, you actually got the cross correct. ;D Very nice. I shall enjoy destroying it in battle.

The dip on the long barrel came out funny, though. I'm done with it for now. I might strip it and try again later.

I used The Army Painter's Quickshade Dark Tone. I didn't shake enough of the material off and it pooled up in a few places. I still think it will work great on this barrel. I just need to try again. 1) I primed the barrel black. 2) I taped the middle of the barrel (the black part). 3) I sprayed the barrel with my silver spray paint while holding the taped part (wearing latex gloves). 4) After drying, I removed the tape. 5) I touched up the black and painted the skulls white. 6) I dipped one side in the Quickshade, then flipped it over and dipped the other side. I was wearing a latex glove and held the piece where it connects to the other barrel (you won't see it anyway). 7) Step outside and shake off the excess. 8) Using a disposable cup, stand the barrel upright. I figured this would keep any excess from pooling on the bottom of the barrel (lengthwise). Unfortunately, I don't think I removed enough and this part looks not quite right up-close. I saw that at Asgard Games over the weekend. I'd love to see how it worked for you.

I'll bring it over if you'd like. I've been tempted to try it on an ork boy.
I showed you my undead, didn't I?
