Be it known that this spell was approved for chapter use by a vote of 7-0 in the GM area. Behold, our first chapter approved spell:
Raven Darkholme's Spell of Armor Repair (Alteration) Level: 2 Range: Touch Duration: Instantaneous Area of Effect 1 Suit of Armor Casting Time: 2 Minutes Components: V, S, M
This spell allows the caster, with but a touch, to cause repair materials to flow like quicksilver across a suit of armor and accurately effect repairs. Armor being repaired by this spell regains 1d4+1 hit points, penetration allowed. These regained hit points can repair normal armor to perfection as long as the armor has 1 hit point remaining prior to casting. Magic armor may be repaired up to its current plus, but not regain pluses it has lost. For every two extra levels of the caster an additional 1d4+1 points of damage may be repaired (5d4+5 max).
The material components for this spell are the armor, not shields, being repaired and an appropriate repair kit/extra suit of armor. For each point of armor that is repaired the appropriate amount of the armor repair kit's material/spare armor's hit points are consumed. The caster cannot repair more armor hit points than are present within the consumed kits/spare armor.
