Ummmmm.... I just failed my Hacklust save so you guys may want to hop on that raft and get away while I hack up that last Gnoll.

Yes, but since I'm using daggers, odds are I'll have swung before you go all berzerky on us. Thats the one annoying nuiance about posted combat. I imagine the gnoll I've been whittling at all afternoon is near death, so I would really want to run now, but unless I roll a 10, there's no way I'd know to do so.

Don't worry, if you finish off the gnoll he is targeting he will just crit the other one.

I'm more worried about the having to do 57 points of damage before he stops going insane part. I figure I'll out live the gnoll.

Maybe Drul and Ermac will kill both gnolls before I have chance to crit.

C'mon, Boog, can't my character be wandering throught the woods and find the party, drawn by the sounds of battle?

Sorry, Cworm, a level 1 mage who's failed 3 or 4 fatigue saves coming at you with a short sword just isn't very scary. I can just overbear your ass.
Besides, better for you to be hacking at me than at the other poor injured bastards.

Wow- the guy with Hacklust drops the last monster of an encounter with a crit and fails his save... that's like a GM's wet dream. He gets to sit back and watch as the PCs kill each other. Boogaloo must be cackling to himself and dancing some sort of dance of joy and delight.
You poor SOBs.

What exactly is/does an infiltrator do? I dont' have a thief guide. I should get one. If you need, I can follow you in, I'm not exactly silent, but all i'm carrying is a spellbook and three daggers, so I'm not noisey either. I don't get the sneakeyness of my elven kin, darn my half human big feet!

An infiltrator is as close as you can get to being James Bond. The only exception is that an inf. isn't nearly as good as say a minstril or an acrobat. It is, in my opinion, the worst PC class in the game. I just wanted to create one so that there would be a PC inf. in the HMA. I am still trying to iron out the bugs, but he has potential to be mediocre. (Joking) Don't worry. I can try to pass myself off as one of the gnolls if need be. (Disguise skill.) As for sneakiness, I don't get that until later levels.
